Indonesia is made up of more than 1500 islands and 234,000,000 people. The greater Jakarta area is the tenth largest mega city in the world, consisting of Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bogar, and Bekasi. The total population of the greater Jakarta area is over 20.5 million people, and it is predicted that by the end of 2010 there will be 25 million people living in this area with 80% of the total Indonesia economy in Jakarta.
