The Joneses

Mike and AnnaMae Jones serve with Drive-In in Prattville, Alabama. Mike was born and raised in south Alabama. At age 18, he followed the call of the Lord toward the pastoral ministry and attended Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, AL., where he also met AnnaMae, a Christian Education major from Wildwood, IL.

One year after graduation they married and moved to Alexander City, Al. where Mike pastored a church for the next two years. Then, in 1983, they moved to Prattville and soon after, Mike became pastor of Cornerstone Bible Church in Montgomery.

In 1985, after meeting Terry Lytle, president of Drive-In, Mike soon began doing mechanical work on various vehicles that D.I. owned and used for mobile ministry. He then began going with teams to present the gospel through movies, and on short mission trips to Mexico.

Gradually Mike began to wonder if the Lord was leading him into full time mission work. After serving Cornerstone Bible Church for 17 years, he joined with D.I. full time in 2001.  Our home and shop in Prattville, Alabama became our office and soon after a new shop, office, and apartment for Drive-In was built as well.

Mike was chosen to be the International Director of the ministry also in 2001, which has since taken him to the countries of Guatemala, India, Nigeria, Mexico, Ukraine, Indonesia, Peru, and Romania.

Mike immediately assumed positions overseeing all Mobile Units, repairs, and fabrications, International Ministries Director, and wherever else needed, all while raising support.  In November 2007, he was elected president of Drive-In. In 2008, after the death of Terry Lytle, the headquarters officially moved to Alabama.

Mike & AnnaMae have nine children and nine grandchildren.  Five of the nine are married.  Three of the six boys are still living at home, one is in college commuting from home.
